Job Overview:
Sankyo Frontier is a leading modular construction company originating from Japan, with a global presence across multiple countries. We are hiring an Associate Architect to join our Research and Development (R&D) Team in Malaysia.
The role involves supporting architectural design development, feasibility studies, and design coordination for modular buildings and customized client solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D, sales, and project teams to translate client needs into practical, regulation-compliant, and aesthetically refined designs suitable for the Malaysian market.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop architectural concepts and design proposals based on client requirements and project briefs
- Conduct feasibility studies and ensure designs comply with Malaysian building codes and regulations
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and presentation materials for client and internal reviews
- Collaborate with the sales, engineering, and project management teams during design development, client
meetings, and technical discussions to ensure smooth design execution - Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and internal departments for design submissions and approvals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture design or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architectural design or construction projects (Prefabrication is a plus but not required)
- Familiar with Malaysia’s building regulations, UBBL, and local authority submission processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (SolidWorks is a plus but not required)
- Feasibility and technical implementation understanding preferred and building space design
- Availability: Able to start in Dec 2025

Job Overview:
Sankyo Frontier is a leading modular construction company originating from Japan with a global presence across multiple countries. We are hiring MEP Engineers to support our R&D design team and site-based installation activities.
The role involves both office-based design work and hands-on execution at distribution centers, factories, and project sites. Candidates will assist in developing electrical and mechanical designs that meet client requirements while ensuring high-quality installation and system performance according to project standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support R&D and project teams in MEP design, drawing preparation, and feasibility studies
- Assist in installation, inspection and troubleshooting of MEP (e.g. DB boards, wiring, ducting, plumbing, equipment
setup) - Work at project sites outside of Klang Valley and other states when needed.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project engineers to execute work plans
- Handle tools, materials, and perform basic testing and troubleshooting as guided
- Ensure all site activities follow safety, quality, and technical guidelines
- Participate in client or design review meetings to refine design solutions
- Travel and site presence required based on project needs
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years and above of work experience in MEP or Electrical design related field is preferred
- Valid CIDB Green Card required
- Additional wiring certification or relevant qualification is preferred
- Familiar with electrical schematic diagram, single line diagram, wiring diagram and other electrical drawings.
- Familiar with relevant building codes, safety standards and regulations
- Good at AutoCAD, SolidWorks is bonus
- Comfortable with both site work and office design coordination
- Availability: Able to start in Dec 2025

- Prepare and manage sales documents such as quotations, invoices, and delivery orders
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to support project execution
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on delivery schedules or outstanding documents
- Assist in general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- Good communication and basic computer skills (Excel, email, document handling)
- Able to work independently, stay organised, and meet deadlines
- Responsible, honest, willing to learn, and a good team player
- Preferred: Experience or training in e-invoicing implementation (with AutoCount system)
